So here is the blog post about creating animated character art videos for Students of Heaven. These videos were created the easiest way possible and not using expensive software or fancy grids but wish I had knowledge on how to use that kind of software but 4 software programs are used to create them. (2 video recording programs, 1 paint shop program, 1 photo shop editor, and a voice altering program.) These programs were used and manipulated in a way to make the animated character image and was tweaked, pressured, tinted, and recorded in a way that made movement to act unrealistically or artificially animated. I want it to get better but I am using very amateur software programs and manipulating the software the best way I can but here it is!
The question is probably why did I choose to make an animated character videos? I think it is fun, entertaining, and to me is my artwork . I think of it like painting or sculpting in some way when creating it. Yes, art not using clay or paint but the technology of the computer. I think it is very fun and of course hard work but I feel I am getting better and better making animated character Val. Again these videos are to me my way of making creative artwork with a computer. I would not consider it fine art but animated modern art. Infact as I researched the difference between cartoon, animation, & Virtual 3D and other multimedia genres I have found these videos & the way they are created fall along production of Realistic 3D Animated Characters, Virtual People, Virtual Spokespeople (Spokesperson), Virtual Actors or Instructor, or Avatars. That is what I am aiming for but this is very difficult to make sophisticated without having professional software. I pray it will get better in quality & that I will understand things a little better and can learn more from here. I enjoy playing & working with technology nevertheless! I pray the people enjoy these art projects and that it will inspire others to study the Word of God.
Does animated character art look like me? A little because it is in fact an actual recording of me wearing makeup and is later altered but I don’t think the finished work looks like me personally does because it is very artificial looking. It is a animated virtual like creation. I really don’t think the videos looks like me when I am done processing video. But I would like to find ways to make the art work more 3D virtual or animated without hi-tech education to do so. I will work with what I have but will try to increase potential.
I personally think it is fun making these videos but allows me to share & communicate the gospel and studies with others in a way that I feel is best and comfortable for me in a creative artistic way.
